No, not really.

Not very good. It didn't match up in some parts and the static kind of hurt my ears. It was generally too loud and chaotic with very little tonality. I could totally see two songs that have pretty much the same tempo and chord progression being mixed together but these songs have very little in common and it just doesn't fit together.

keioss01 responds:

Thanks for sharing.

It's ok.

I'll give you an 8 because it's pretty good. Didn't anyone ever tell you that uploading your music to Youtube is a bad idea? It's so easy to download it for free from there.

TerraNation responds:

its not that they can download bu they wont get that quality of the track its only 128kps stream and master version is in wav file

Repetitive.

While it does have atmosphere, the song is really repetitive. You could argue that the beginning is different, but when you skip ahead to random points in the song and find that they sound the same as the first points, it doesn't bode well for the song in general.

malakai043 responds:

I agree that it gets repetitive, I've swapping out one of the synths so that the song blends better but uses the same melody.

Also working on swapping in some new tracks...

Again, So-So.

You've nailed the generic music that the simpler people on Newgrounds enjoy. I suppose that's good if you don't want to advance, but if you ever want to be anything you need to make your own style. I'm not trying to be an asshole but this just isn't very good. It's generally mediocre. I hope you can improve someday.

DjAbbic responds:

Yup. It's only my 5th month, and I'm 13. With time, I'll be making something that is, HOPEFULLY, original and not generic. I thank you, again, for taking the time to honestly review this.

No...

I'm sorry to say this, but this song isn't too good. Firstly the bass has so little tonality that it sounds harsh, wrong and kind of hurts my ears. The drums start out as a slow pounding which isn't very easy to listen to at all and when the other drums start coming in at around 0:15, the drums become very repetitive. At 0:30 when the main lead comes in it becomes even more repetitive. The droning drums get louder which helps kill the tonality. at 1:02 we did not need any more drums. What is needed in this song is more change and tonality. Less harsh sounds would be better.
With time maybe you will become a good musician.

DjAbbic responds:

Actually the only reason this sucks is because this was a first attempt at house. If you check out my other stuff they aren't as bad as this, but I thank you for your honesty. It IS very helpful to have critics that give actual helpful reviews :)

Meh

It's not good and it's not bad. It's just that generic techno sound..... Where's the surprise? Where's the love? Where's the change? Where's the hope? Where's the defining characteristic that sets it apart from all the other dumb generic songs?

AxijeN responds:

Its generic techno. It has no originality. ;A;

Hmm

It was a bit slow to start off. While I was listening I realized I made a song using the same drum loop as you and almost the same type of song XD
You can listen to it here if you want.

AudioVision responds:

Ah garageband, bringing folks together one loop at a time...

Hmmm.

The drums didn't really hit on the right beats, Also they were only there for a few seconds at a time.
Pretty good, nice layering of tracks.
Gratz on your new keyboard.

AdventureBiscuit responds:

The right beats? Dunno what you mean, there.

And I don't think that the drums only being there for a little bit isn't a bad thing. If I put them in everywhere, the dynamics of the song wouldn't be as nice. But I can see what you mean, they aren't there for much of the time.

I'm glad you like the layering, because I'm not very good at that.

Thanks for reviewing, and thanks for the good score!

Hmmm

Normally I'm not a big fan of industrial music, but this is actually quite good!
Still, has a sort of FL studio feel to it.

aloneagainfriend responds:

I know, I know... I am an electronic artist after all.... I dont use guitars... just synths ran into Metal guitar amps, LOL!
Thanks!
